Venue
The workshop will be hosted in Bertinoro, Italy, a small town situated on the hills of Romagna.
Located a few kilometers from the Via Emilia between the cities of Forlì and Cesena,
Bertinoro is renowned for its scenic beauty and historical significance.
The venue for the workshop is the
University Residential Center of Bertinoro (CEUB),
located at Via Frangipane 6, 47032 Bertinoro (FC). The center is housed within a medieval fortress that offers
a stunning panoramic view of Bertinoro and Romagna.
Accommodations are available on-site for the convenience of participants. Additionally, alternative lodging options are offered in downtown Bertinoro, providing attendees with flexibility in choosing their preferred stay.

Travel Information
For travelers arriving by car from Bologna, please take the Forlì exit on the A-14 highway and follow the signs for Cesena-Forlimpopoli-Bertinoro. If you are arriving from Rimini, take the Cesena “Nord” (North) exit on the A-14 highway and continue on the E45 street towards Rome until you reach the Cesena “Ovest” (West) exit. Turn right onto SS9 (Via Emilia) in the direction of Forlì-Bologna, and follow the signs for Bertinoro. Free parking is available in via Frangipane.
Travel on the Bologna-Rimini line and choose Forlì or Cesena as your arrival station.
Forlimpopoli-Bertinoro is not recommended due to its small size and limited train schedule.

The closest airports to Bertinoro are (in order)
Forlì (FRL).
and
Rimini (RMI).
However, as of today, flight schedules for July 2024 are not yet available.
Bologna Marconi (BLQ) is another viable option, situated approximately 80 km away.
The
Marconi Express,
a monorail line, links the airport to the main railway station
(Bologna Centrale), providing a convenient connection for direct trains to/from Forlì or Cesena.
The Marconi Express operates every day of the year, with a one-way fare of €11, and runs at intervals
of 8 minutes. Please, note that no ticket is required as you can access the service by tapping your
contactless card or device at the gates.

Upon reaching Forlì or Cesena station, you can proceed to Bertinoro by bus or taxi.

Bertinoro is accessible by bus from nearby cities such as Forlì
and Cesena. It's important to be aware that only line 121 provides direct service to the fortress, while other
bus routes stop approximately 650m away. It's worth noting that this distance includes an uphill walk.
